Paraguay want to follow the Dutch team

Johannesburg - Paraguay coach Gerardo Martino believes his team can emulate the Dutch who made a surprise move by getting rid of Brazil. Martino believes his team can make a similar surprise by defeating Spain at the Ellis Park Stadium, Saturday (03/07/2010).

Netherlands are surprisingly beat "Selecao" with the score 2-1 at the 2010 World Cup quarter-finals, Friday (7/3/2010). The success of "Orange" has raised morale like the Paraguayan team that was seeded when dealing with "Matador". "We expect Brazil advanced to the finals, but the Dutch played very well and Brazil to help them by making a few mistakes," said Martino.
"We're going to shoot out victory against Spain. In the World Cup, teams that win do not always play a good team. The team that wins is the team playing with courage and high fighting spirit," said Martino.

Location of Paraguay's main strength is the line behind them. Of the four games that have been passed, Paraguay goalkeeper collapse only once. Martino hopes his team can make it difficult to survive the game of Spain.

"They (Spain) too much control of the ball so you have to survive. It's not easy for the attacking team who play like that. We must improve our passes and to prevent the Spanish play as usual," continued the coach. "We played that way during a few minutes against Italy and Slovakia, but now we have to do it for a full game. This is a good time to start a picture that we're not just good team defense, "pungkasnya.Di stage the World Cup, Paraguay and Spain have met twice, both times in the group. In France in 1998, they played a goalless draw. Four years later, Paraguay gave up 1-3. (AFP)
